Accounts Payable Officer

The Opportunity
As part of our Finance team, you’ll play an important role in delivering accurate and efficient Accounts Payable services across the business. This is a hands-on role where you’ll manage the end-to-end accounts payable process while working closely with internal teams and external suppliers.

As Accounts Payable Officer, you will:

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable processing.
• Accurately process invoices, credit notes and cheque requisitions.
• Process creditor and gaming payout payments via EFT, BPAY, cheque and OTT, including rejected or returned payments.
• Reconcile creditor statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Manage corporate credit card processing and reconciliations.
• Ensure invoices and payments are appropriately authorised and processed in accordance with required procedures.
• Maintain creditor master files and accurate financial records.
• Complete end-of-month processing, including GL reconciliations and accruals, while ensuring deadlines are met.
• Prepareand providing financial statements and reports as required.
• Respond to internal and external customer and supplier enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain registers and records, including motor vehicles, authorised signatories, electricity and fuel cards.
• Manage document control, filing, scanning and archive records across onsite and offsite storage.
• Process vehicle and machinery registrations.
• Support the wider Finance team and assisting with ad hoc tasks as required

What you'll bring 

• 3+ years’ experience in an Accounts Payable role.
• Strong attention to detail and a hands-on, proactive approach.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
• Sound computer and administration skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Business Central and Continia is preferred.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
