We're looking for a Plastic Injection Technician to join our Manufacturing team in Perth. This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of our injection moulding processes, helping us deliver high-quality components that are used in life-saving equipment globally.
 
The Role:

• Set up and operate plastic injection moulding machines and associated equipment
• Perform mould changes, machine start-ups and process adjustments
• Monitor production runs to ensure product quality and process consistency
• Troubleshoot moulding defects and process issues to minimise downtime
• Conduct routine maintenance and identify equipment improvement opportunities
• Receipt in raw materials
• Carry out QAQC checks in the completed plastic parts and pack for storage 
• Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Work with Engineering teams to support new product introductions and tooling trials
• Maintain accurate production, maintenance and quality records
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity and waste reduction

• Experience operating and setting up plastic injection moulding equipment
• Strong understanding of moulding processes, materials and tooling
• Experience troubleshooting manufacturing and product quality issues
• Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement
• A valid W.A Drivers License
