FAMILY LAW PARALEGAL / LAW CLERK

About the role

You will assist with a broad range of parenting and property matters, including litigation, financial settlements, contraventions, consent orders, subpoenas and court proceedings. This is an opportunity to work closely with experienced Family Law solicitors, take ownership of your work and play a genuine role in a busy and growing practice.

Key responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day file matters
• Preparing correspondence and court documents
• Assisting with affidavits, applications and hearing materials
• Managing disclosure and subpoenas
• Preparing chronologies, asset pools and settlement calculations
• Monitoring court orders, deadlines and procedural requirements
• Liaising with clients, barristers, experts and other solicitors
• Providing high-quality client service

About you

• Has at least 2 years' Family Law experience
• Understands Family Law procedure and litigation
• Is highly organised and detail-focused
• Can work independently and manage competing deadlines
• Is proactive, reliable and accountable
• Communicates confidently and professionally
