ABC Building Products has been supplying the building industry since 1978.

We are an established building products supplier with our own transport and delivery operation, servicing trade and construction customers throughout South East Queensland and Northern NSW. We also support our customers through a growing e-commerce channel.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Sales Representative with building products industry experience to grow and support our customer base throughout Tweed Heads and Northern NSW, including the Byron Bay and Ballina regions.

Ideally based in or around Tweed Heads, you'll manage an existing customer base while actively developing new business across your territory.

This is a hands-on sales role suited to someone who understands the building industry, enjoys being out in front of customers and knows how to build long-term relationships with builders, trades and construction businesses.

You'll be supported by our internal sales, operations and transport teams, allowing you to focus on looking after customers and growing the territory.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage and grow existing customer relationships across Tweed and Northern NSW.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout the region.

• Regularly visit builders, trades and construction customers.

• Develop a strong pipeline of prospective customers and follow up sales opportunities.

• Promote ABC's building product range and delivery capabilities.

• Prepare and follow up customer pricing and quotations.

• Work closely with our internal Sales, Operations and Transport teams to deliver a great customer experience.

• Monitor customer activity, market opportunities and competitor activity.

• Represent ABC professionally throughout the Northern NSW building industry.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous sales experience within building products, construction supplies or a closely related industry.

• Has a strong understanding of trade customers and the building industry.

• Is locally based in the Tweed Heads / Northern NSW area.

• Is comfortable developing new business as well as managing existing accounts.

• Builds genuine, long-term customer relationships.

• Is self-motivated and comfortable managing a sales territory.

• Has strong communication and follow-up skills.

• Is organised, reliable and commercially minded.

• Holds a current driver's licence.

Existing relationships within the Tweed, Byron Bay and Ballina building and construction markets would be highly regarded.
