About the Role

Due to unprecedented business growth, PremiAir has full-time, permanent position available with an immediate start for reliable and experienced Purchasing Officer to join our busy Head Office located in Eastern Creek (Western Sydney).

Reporting directly to the Asset and Purchasing Manager, the main responsibility of the role is to source parts, materials and services and to negotiate the best or most cost-effective pricing for the company.

Duties

• Prepare Purchase Orders as requested by the branch network

• Effective communication with internal customers regarding stock availability and delivery

• Establish and manage supplier and vendor relationships 

• Negotiate supply contracts, prices and deliveries

• Maintain the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation

Skills and Experience

You must possess a strong sense of urgency with an "I will make it happen" attitude to get the job done. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience in a purchasing role is essential to be considered for this position

• Excellent computer literacy skills 

• High attention to detail coupled with strong organisational skills

• Is focused on providing the best possible service to our customers

• Is reliable, punctual with excellent work ethics

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Previous experience and success in a similar role will be highly regarded, however, the successful applicants will be appointed primarily based on attitude and the desire to assist the business in the next phase of growth.
