Dewatering Operators

 We currently have opportunities available for experienced dewatering operators to work with a major Teir 1 mining operator. The positions are offered FIFO Perth on a 7:7 roster with an early September start date.  10-month contract initially.

About The Role: 

Key responsibilities of these positions include: 

• Install and maintain polyethylene piping and fittings both in‑pit and ex‑pit
• Operate and monitor bore fields and associated water infrastructure
• Perform pipeline isolations, maintenance and repairs
• Remove, relocate and reinstate water infrastructure as mining activities progress
• Dewater active and planned mining pits
• Supply the Process Plant with the required water quality and volume
• Manage excess water disposal through injection bore fields and dust suppression systems
• Operate and maintain water infrastructure in line with Roy Hill licensing and compliance obligations

About You Skills and Experience:

To be considered for these positions you will ideally have:

• Previous experience in dewatering, water management or mining operations
• Current WA Manual C Class Driver’s Licence
• Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver’s Licence
• Poly welding and extrusion welding experience
• Experience operating IT loaders desirable 
• Dogman ticket desirable
