Underground HV Electricians | Mining Opportunity of a Lifetime in Canada

Mader Canada are currently looking for experienced UG HV Electicians !

You'll carry out diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on electrical systems critical to underground operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Diagnosing and repairing HV and auto-electrical faults on underground mobile and fixed equipment

• Maintaining switchgear, lighting, wiring, and control systems

• Supporting equipment reliability and availability

• Following site safety and electrical compliance standards

Equipment You'll Work On

• Loaders (CAT R1700/R2900, Sandvik LH series)

• Trucks (CAT AD, Sandvik, Epiroc)

• Charge-Up & Agi Trucks

• Ancillary & Fixed Plant: lighting plants, pump stations, switch rooms, substations

What You’ll Need

• Trade-qualified Auto Electrician or HV Electrician

• Underground mining or heavy industry experience (advantageous)

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

• C Class licence (HR or HV switching tickets desirable)

• Commitment to safety and quality work
