Graduate - Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Accountant to join our Finance Team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a practical environment while developing technical accounting, financial analysis and commercial skills under the guidance of experienced finance professionals.

• Assist with day-to-day accounting and finance activities, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports, reconciliations and management reporting.
• Compile and analyse financial data and prepare supporting schedules and documentation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis activities.
• Support compliance with accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements.
• Participate in finance improvement initiatives, projects and process enhancement activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to support project and operational finance requirements.

• Recently completed or nearing completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Previous internship, vacation work or part-time experience in accounting, finance or administration (desirable).
• Commitment to pursuing CPA or CA qualifications.
