About the role
As our Finance Officer, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of efficient and accurate finance services across Tourism and Events Queensland. You will be responsible for a broad range of transactional finance activities including billing, accounts receivable, travel and, expense reporting and reconciliation, corporate credit card reconciliation and administration plus providing support to the payroll specialist for both domestic and international environments.
This role is offered on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week, for a 12-month fixed term.
Working closely with employees, suppliers and stakeholders across the organisation, you will provide responsive customer service, ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, and contribute to the continuous improvement of finance systems and processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, solving problems and building strong relationships.
