Business Operations Manager

About this opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Business Operations Manager (BOM) to lead our Sydney Inner South West (Rockdale) office, guiding the team through growth opportunities, operational challenges and continuous improvement, while delivering outstanding care and service outcomes.

This hands-on senior leadership role operates in a fast-paced service-based environment, where the ability to juggle priorities, yet systematically close out tasks that drive outcomes, is crucial.

The role will initially have 3 direct reports in the office plus caregivers working remotely in the community. This office has large growth potential and will expanding its territory in the next 6 months.

Drawing on previous leadership experience, you’ll foster strong relationships with your team; motivating and guiding them to achieve business goals, as well as providing them with constructive and supportive feedback that drives business capability and aids personal growth. You will identify new business opportunities and develop and grow the business through strong community partnerships and networking.

About you:

Relevant experience in managing a business or standalone business unit – ideally within the aged care sector.An ability to drive and implement organisational change and bring your team along a path of change-management.Demonstrated experience and a proven track record of managing and growing businesses, or business units.Experience in ensuring the continual improvement of business and financial processes and systems.Strong analytical and leadership skills and experience in developing and motivating a diverse team within the businessResilient and pragmatic approachStrong people management skills and understanding of the employment landscape in Australia.Sound commercial acumen - Strong financial literacy
