About the Opportunity

As a Research Project Support Officer, you will play an integral role in supporting grant-funded research projects led by CCLHD in collaboration with key research and healthcare partners. Working alongside experienced researchers and project teams, you will contribute to projects that inform evidence-based practice and improve patient care across the Central Coast.

This position is essential in ensuring research projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with ethical and governance requirements. In this role you will:

• Support the delivery of funded research projects through project coordination, monitoring, and administrative support. 
• Coordinate data collection, collation, and analysis across a range of settings, including patient record audits, surveys, interviews, focus groups, and workshops. 
• Prepare ethics and governance submissions, project reports, and documentation to meet funding and compliance requirements. 
• Liaise with researchers, ethics committees, clinicians, carers, and community stakeholders while assisting with the preparation of research publications and reports.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree qualification in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated experience working in a health research, clinical practice, or project support environment. 
• An understanding of research methodologies, data management, and experience working with confidential information. 
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a broad range of stakeholders. 
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively. 
• A current Australian driver's licence and a commitment to contributing to high-quality research that improves health outcomes.
