About the role

360 Automation is an international company with offices in the UK and Australia, and one of the fastest growing and most progressive machine tool distributors in the industry. We supply CNC machinery, laser cutting systems, press brakes, and industrial automation equipment to manufacturers and fabricators across Australia.

We're looking for a Sales Support professional to be the engine room of our sales operation. Based at our Cranbourne West office, you'll prepare quotes, organise sales orders for processing, and keep our customers informed on their orders from purchase through to delivery. You'll be the critical link between our field-based sales team, our customers, and our international suppliers.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing accurate, professional quotes for machinery, spare parts and accessories as requested by the sales team and customers

• Processing sales orders and organising them through to fulfilment, coordinating with suppliers, service and logistics so nothing falls through the cracks

• Keeping customers updated on their orders, including confirmations, lead times, shipping and delivery/installation dates

• Liaising between our state managers, customers, the UK office and international suppliers to keep transactions moving and resolve issues

• Maintaining accurate customer, quote and order records in our CRM

• Supporting the sales team with documentation, follow-ups and general sales administration

What we're looking for

• Experience in a sales support, sales administration, internal sales or order processing role. Industrial or technical products an advantage, but not essential

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Accuracy matters when quoting capital equipment

• A confident, professional communicator on phone and email, comfortable dealing with customers and colleagues at all levels

• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• A proactive, customer-first mindset. You keep people informed before they have to ask

• The ability to juggle multiple quotes and orders at different stages without dropping any
