Transport Forklift Driver

We are currently seeking an experienced Transport Forklift Driver to join our client’s busy transport and warehouse operation in Beresfield.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for 2 days per week initially, with the potential for additional days and hours as the business grows.

About the role

• Operating an LF forklift to load and unload freight
• Moving and organising freight within the warehouse and yard
• Loading and preparing freight for dispatch
• Assisting with general warehouse and transport duties
• Manual handling and sorting freight
• Strapping and securing freight where required
• Applying load restraint to ensure freight is safely secured for transport
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

About you

• Current LF Forklift Licence
• Previous forklift and warehouse experience
• Transport, freight or logistics experience highly regarded
• Experience with strapping and load restraint preferred
• Comfortable with manual handling
• Strong safety awareness
• Reliable and punctual
• Available to commit to 2 days per week initially
• Willingness to increase availability as more shifts become available
• Full working rights in Australia

Pay: $34.00 – $35.00 per hour

• Forklift Licence (Preferred)
• Driver Licence (Preferred)
