Medical Receptionnist

About the role

Palm Healthcare is seeking highly motivated and skilled Medical Receptionists to join our team in Greenway, Holt, Coombs, Phillip. This is a casual role, offering flexible work opportunities. We are open to Part time offers as well.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial part in ensuring a positive and professional experience.

What you'll be doing

• Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and efficient manner

• Schedule and manage patient appointments, including booking, rescheduling and cancellations

• Collect and process patient information, including registration forms and insurance details

• Manage incoming phone calls and direct enquiries to the appropriate team members

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our practice management system

• Assist with general administrative duties, such as filing, photocopying and ordering supplies

• Ensure the reception area is well-presented and organised at all times

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar customer service role

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a warm and professional manner

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• Proficiency in using practice management software and basic computer applications

• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment

• A friendly, patient-focused attitude and a commitment to providing high-quality customer service
