Junior Electrician

Appliance Mates provides premium, fast-turnaround appliance replacement solutions for property managers and customers across Brisbane. We are currently seeking a reliable, licensed Junior Electrician for a consistent part-time role.

This position is highly focused: you will not be undertaking complex residential wiring or commercial fit-outs. Instead, your core focus will be the delivery, changeover, and hardwiring/plug-in of household kitchen and laundry goods.

• Deliver, professionally install, and test appliances including Ovens, Cooktops, Range Hoods, Dishwashers, Washing Machines, and Hot Water Heat Pumps.

• Safely remove, transport, and ensure the eco-friendly disposal of old units from customer properties.

• Perform minor handyman tasks essential for seamless installations, such as cabinetry adjustments and secure unit mounting.

• Valid Australian Electrical Licence: Essential for legal, hardwired appliance connections (e.g., ovens, cooktops).

• Driving Capability: A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record and confidence navigating local job sites.

• Physical Fitness: Strong capability for heavy manual handling, as you will be lifting and maneuvering large white goods daily.

• Practical Problem Solving: Confident handyman skills to handle on-the-spot installation adjustments.
