About the role

Chris McAuley Electrical is seeking a skilled and dedicated Qualified Electrician to join our team in Temora, NSW.

This is a full-time position and as a Qualified Electrician, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality electrical installation, maintenance, and repair services across residential, commercial, and industrial projects in our local community.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installation

• Strong troubleshooting skills to identify faults and implement appropriate solutions

• Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations

• Use a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively

• Liaise with clients and other tradespeople to coordinate work schedules and ensure project timelines are met

• Ability to supervise and support apprentices

• Maintain accurate records within our job management software of work completed and materials used

• Prioritise health and safety on all job sites, including your own and that of colleagues

What we're looking for

• Current electrical licence recognised in New South Wales

• Someone who is motivated, learns quickly, takes initiative, and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship with strong attention to detail.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry

• Sound understanding of workplace health and safety regulations and electrical safety standards

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A valid driver's licence
