What your days will look like

No two days will be exactly the same. Alongside producing high-quality residential construction documentation, you’ll work closely with the leadership team, helping improve systems, solve problems and influence how the drafting department evolves as the business grows.

You’ll be:

• Preparing detailed working drawings and construction documentation for new residential homes

• Coordinating consultant information including engineering, surveying and energy assessments

• Preparing documentation for building approvals and construction issue

• Ensuring plans comply with NCC, R-Codes and company standards

• Liaising with internal staff, consultants and suppliers to resolve documentation queries

• Improving drafting systems, templates and workflows as the business grows

• Helping build an efficient, scalable in-house drafting department

What they’re looking for

You’ll already have experience working as a Residential Draftsperson within the WA residential construction industry and enjoy producing accurate, high-quality documentation.

You’ll also bring:

• Strong knowledge of WA residential construction methods, NCC and R-Codes

• Experience producing working drawings and construction documentation

• Proficiency using ArchiCAD or Revit

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

• The confidence to work autonomously while collaborating closely with others

• A proactive mindset and the desire to contribute ideas, not just complete drawings
