Electrical Engineer for Switchboard Manufacturing

Bayswater Victoria location.

We are seeking the services of a suitably qualified Electrical Engineer Specializing in Electrical Switchboards. Candidate must have more than 2 years of experience in Switchboard Design and Engineering.

This role is offered as a full-time position for a minimum period of two years, with the possibility of ongoing employment thereafter.

Role responsibilities

· Role requires conversion of concept Project System requirements to CAD Electrical drawings.

· Integration of Electrical Equipment, Support System and Busbars in the Design

· Production of CAD drawings from the Solid works Model.

· Selection of Switchgear and Control gear parts to meet consultant specifications and Project requirements.

· Testing of SCA to comply to ASNZS3000, ASNZS61439

· Compliance check of SCA to VIC SIR

· Manufacturing of support system and Bus Bars

· Quality control

· Preparation of Installation and commissioning manual including SCA Dossier

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· 3D CAD Design Experience with AutoCAD minimum 1 year

· Electrical Switchboard Design (advantageous)

· SCA manufacturing experience 1 Year

· Bachelors Engineering graduate qualifications.

· Attention to Detail

· Good Communication Skills

· The ability to work with minimal supervision.

· Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to interpret plans and standards

· Accurate record keeping

· Ability to work as part of a team

· Strong work ethic with ability to help other staff and listen to instructions

· Experience in manufacturing of switchboards and control wiring

· Willing to take responsibility for your work, being punctual and sincere.

· Work safely at all times
