About the Opportunity 

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Breast Sonographer to join our expanding team at our Noosa practice. In this role, you will provide high-quality ultrasound imaging services for breast health, including both screening and diagnostic examinations. 

The successful candidate will be a dedicated and motivated sonographer who takes pride in delivering high-quality imaging and exceptional patient experiences. You will be confident working independently, while enjoying the support of an experienced and collaborative team committed to excellence in breast health.

Responsibilities include: 

• Ensure the highest standards of patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality. 
• Perform ultrasound examinations to produce images of the highest diagnostic quality. 
• Assist in interventional breast procedures such as FNA, core biopsy, clip placement, and hookwire localisation. 
• Work in tandem with MRI department to correlate MRI breast findings with ultrasound, involved in pre-treatment planning. 
• Opportunity to perform mammography if trained and hold current qualifications and licences. 
• Provide compassionate patient care and support throughout imaging procedures. 
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate imaging reports.

About you 

• Possess an accredited Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound 
• Current ASAR 
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail  
• Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and software  
• Good organisation and time management skills 
• High level of communication with patients and staff 
• Passionate about providing an outstanding service to our patients
