Registered Nurse - General Practice

Family Doctors Plus Windsor is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and clinically confident Registered Nurse to join our busy and supportive general practice team.

We are a well-established, patient-focused practice with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to our local community. Our nursing team plays an integral role in the day-to-day clinical care of our patients, and we are looking for someone who enjoys being hands-on and working collaboratively with our GPs and wider practice team.

This is a varied and hands-on GP nursing position where you will have the opportunity to use and develop a broad range of clinical skills.

Your day may include:

• Patient assessment and clinical triage

• Vaccinations and immunisations

• Medication administration and treatments

• Wound care and dressings

• ECGs

• Spirometry and audiometry

• Assisting with minor procedures and surgical procedures

• Health assessments and preventative health care

• Patient education and health promotion

• Chronic disease management support

• Treatment room duties and clinical stock management

• Working closely with our GPs to provide coordinated patient care

We are looking for someone who is:

• A Registered Nurse with current unrestricted AHPRA registration

• Experienced in general practice, primary care or a similar clinical environment

• Confident working both independently and as part of a team

• Clinically competent and comfortable in a busy environment

• Friendly, approachable and patient-focused

• Well organised with excellent communication skills

• Proactive and willing to contribute to the wider nursing team

• Committed to maintaining high standards of clinical care and documentation

Experience in Best Practice software is desirable, but not essential.

Pre-employment medical experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
