Business Manager International

The Company
Sanitarium is a progressive and dynamic business that is Australian owned and produces Australia’s leading breakfast products – Up & Go, So Good, Alternative Dairy Co range and Australia’s favourite breakfast Weet-Bix.

The Role
This role is responsible for developing and managing the relationship of our in-market partners across multiple international markets, aligning with Sanitarium International strategy to drive sustainable business growth. Reporting to Senior Business Leader – International, you will work closely with internal and external key stakeholders to pursue new growth opportunities, while developing and executing against joint business plans to ensure that Sanitarium brands thrive in key markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for new product launches and expanded distribution.
• Develop, execute and monitor joint business plans with key international partners.
• Proactively address in-market challenges and gaps to business plan targets.
• Manage accurate customer forecasts.
• Effectively manage trade spend investment and territory P&L.
• Partner closely with Marketing, Category, Demand and Supply Chain teams to deliver commercial objectives.
• Deliver sales targets in line with budget expectations.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships with a partnership and joint-growth focus.
• Liaise between regulatory/compliance teams and international customers to meet market-specific requirements.
• Travel internationally as required to meet with distributors, retailers and trade representatives.

You enjoy building strong partnerships, working collaboratively across functions, and finding innovative solutions to achieve business objectives. You are adaptable, resilient and thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

What You'll Bring

• Strong background (7–10+ years) in sales and/or marketing with a proven record of delivering results.
• International business experience will be highly regarded.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and cross-cultural relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial acumen, including forecasting and P&L management
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving capability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet analysis and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Tertiary qualifications in Sales, Marketing, Finance or a related discipline (preferred).
• Understanding of grocery retail dynamics will be advantageous.
