Senior Systems Administrator

NTT DATA is seeking two experienced Senior Systems Administrators to join a large-scale Core Modernisation Program focused on modernising critical enterprise infrastructure platforms.

Working within the Payment Systems Migration Stream, you will play a key role in building, validating, and preparing infrastructure environments to support a major migration initiative. This is an opportunity to contribute to a high-profile transformation program within a complex enterprise environment.

• Build and configure Linux and Windows servers following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Support payment system migration activities, ensuring infrastructure readiness
• Perform server validation, testing, and readiness checks prior to deployment
• Manage and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments
• Administer and support VMware infrastructure, including ESXi and vCenter
• Collaborate with project teams and technical stakeholders to ensure successful migration outcomes
• Maintain technical documentation and comply with governance and process standards

• Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Strong experience administering VMware environments (ESXi & vCenter)
• Working knowledge of Windows Server
• Good understanding of Active Directory and DNS
• Proven experience following structured server build processes and SOPs
• Experience in server validation, testing, and infrastructure readiness activities
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Exposure to Terraform and/or Puppet
• Experience working in large enterprise or highly regulated environments
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting
• Experience supporting infrastructure migration or transformation programs
