Hospitality, Retail & Lounge Manager

Broome International Airport is the gateway to the Kimberley and one of Australia's busiest regional airports, connecting visitors, business travellers and local residents with one of Australia's most unique destinations.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Hospitality, Retail & Lounge Manager to lead our customer-facing commercial operations, including Nakamura's Bar, the Gift Shop & Gallery, and the airport's airline lounge facilities.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, leading a high-performing team, and driving commercial performance across multiple hospitality and retail venues.

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the airport's hospitality, retail and lounge facilities.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high presentation standards.
• Manage staff recruitment, training, rostering and performance.
• Oversee stock control, purchasing, merchandising, supplier relationships and inventory management.
• Monitor budgets, sales performance, margins and operating costs.
• Develop and implement initiatives to improve revenue, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate catering and support airport functions and special events.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety and liquor licensing requirements.

You are a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality and customer service, combined with strong commercial acumen.

To be successful, you will have:

• Experience managing hospitality, food and beverage, retail, lounge or tourism operations.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in customer-facing environments.
• Strong financial, budgeting and stock management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• RSA certification and a current driver's licence (Approved Manager certification desirable).

• Lead some of the airport's most visible and customer-focused operations.
• Play a key role in enhancing the passenger experience at the gateway to the Kimberley.
