About the role:

The Hospital Sales Representative will drive territory sales across Western Australia, with travel to South Australia approximately every eight weeks, building trusted, commercially productive relationships with HCPs, ophthalmologists and key stakeholders across Hospital and Specialist accounts. The role focuses on increasing uptake, utilisation and growth of Arrotex’s ophthalmology portfolio, while strengthening customer confidence and advocacy for current and future products. Success requires disciplined execution, strong territory planning, quality customer engagement and credibility as a partner in patient care and prescribing decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver territory sales targets across priority Hospital and Specialist accounts.
• Develop deep customer relationships with ophthalmologists, HCPs, decision-makers and account stakeholders.
• Prioritise accounts, execute targeted sales strategies and convert engagement into measurable outcomes.
• Apply strong product, disease, market and competitor knowledge to build confidence, advocacy and portfolio growth
• Demonstrate business acumen, market and scientific knowledge
  and ability to make tactical decisions and choices to increase
  sales in territory
• Discover the customer’s patient management priorities and goals,
  intrinsic and extrinsic decision influences, and practical
  implementation sequencing of prescribing behaviour.

Key Requirements

• 2+ years pharmaceutical sales experience, ideally in Specialist, Hospital or high-science environments.
• Ophthalmology experience and established relationships with specialists, clinics, hospitals and account stakeholders highly regarded.
• Proven ability to grow sales, build account depth and deliver sustained commercial outcomes.
• Strong understanding of prescription medicines, PBS dynamics, market access and portfolio performance drivers.
• Professional, accountable and commercially disciplined, with Microsoft Office capability and willingness to travel regularly
• Regular travel to designated regional areas to achieve territory objectives
• Travel to HQ locations when requested
