Maintenance Technician - Electrical

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your Electrical Maintenance expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside motivated and energetic teammates, and will be primarily responsible for the maintenance and repair of the Rolling Stock and its associated equipment under the Scope of the Rolling Stock team at our Lilyfield, NSW Depot for Sydney Light Rail. If you're ambitious, driven and team-spirited, this is your opportunity to build a career. This role will be on a rotating roster, which includes morning shifts and night shifts across weekdays and weekends.

We'll look to you for:

• Carrying out routine examinations, fault finding, interrogation and diagnostic testing on tram equipment installed on Sydney Light Rail Vehicles (LRV) sub-systems.
• Actively maintaining and repairing tram equipment installed on Light Rail Vehicles.
• Following all established safety procedures and utilising safety equipment as required.
• Reporting on activities, problems found and measures taken.
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and understanding as well as implementing quality control mesaures.

• Experience in a simlar role, ideally within maintenance operations.
• The ability to participate in a rotating shift roster.
• Cert III Electrotechnology and NSW Electrical Licence.
