We're seeking an experienced and passionate Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team and ensure every guest room, public space and back-of-house area reflects the exceptional standards of Mantarays and Belingbak Hotels & Resorts.

As Housekeeping Manager, you'll be a custodian of the resort, leading a team committed to delivering outstanding presentation, cleanliness and consistency while creating memorable guest experiences.

The Opportunity

As Housekeeping Manager, you'll oversee all housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring the department runs efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing housekeeping team.

• Overseeing housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces and resort facilities.

• Ensuring all accommodation and public areas consistently meet Mantarays and BHR presentation standards.

• Managing daily room allocations and housekeeping workflows to align with occupancy and operational requirements.

• Conducting regular room and property inspections to maintain quality and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Managing the resort's laundry operations, linen inventory and housekeeping supplies.

• Monitoring housekeeping equipment, furnishings and guest room presentation, reporting maintenance requirements promptly.

• Preparing team rosters in line with occupancy levels and labour budgets.

• Supporting recruitment, induction, training and ongoing development of the housekeeping team.

• Maintaining accurate housekeeping records, inventories and departmental procedures.

• Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety, chemical handling, environmental practices and housekeeping SOPs.

• Working collaboratively with Front Office, Maintenance and other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.

About You

You'll be a positive and organised leader who takes pride in creating exceptional environments and supporting your team to succeed.

You'll bring:

• Previous experience in a Housekeeping Manager or senior housekeeping leadership role within a hotel, resort or similar environment.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop teams.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine passion for maintaining high presentation standards.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

• Experience managing housekeeping operations, laundry processes and inventory control.

• Strong communication and guest service skills.

• Confidence using property management and rostering systems.

• A sound understanding of workplace health and safety, chemical handling and housekeeping compliance.

Essential Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver's Licence

• Senior First Aid Certificate

• Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate

• Chemical Handling

• Relevant regulatory checks as required
