About the role

Copeys Plumbing PTY LTD is seeking a full-time qualified plumber to join our team in cairns , QLD. As a qualified plumber, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems in the local area.

What you'll be doing

1. Respond to and resolve plumbing issues and emergencies in a timely and efficient manner

2. Carry out a range of plumbing tasks including installing, repairing and maintaining pipework, fixtures and fittings

3. Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing problems, providing expert advice and solutions to customers

4. Comply with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

5. Maintain accurate records and provide detailed reports on work completed

6. Assist with the training and mentoring of junior plumbers as required

What we're looking for

1. Formal plumbing qualification and a valid plumbing licence

2. Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified plumber, preferably in a similar role

3. Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems and building codes

4. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills

5. Customer service-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal abilities

6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

7. Reliable, punctual and committed to safety
