Clinical Care Coordinator

This aged care provider is a Not for Profit, Community based aged care facility in the picturesque Korumburra. They have just expanded through a major redevelopment up to a 60-bed facility, and as such have an exciting role available for a Clinical Coordinator. The organization employs approximately 100 dedicated people.

The Opportunity

The organisation is excited to share that they have a new opportunity for a Permanent Full-Time Clinical Care Coordinator. They are seeking a Registered Nurse either with Leadership experience, or looking to develop into a Leadership role within the aged care sector. They require the candidate to have an understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and legislative requirements.

The role of the Clinical Care Coordinator is to provide clinical leadership, oversight, and advice in addition to supervision, and monitoring of RNs, ENs and PCA’s. The successful applicant will also provide operational leadership to deliver quality clinical care to residents in accordance with operational and legislative requirements, including:

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse in Aged Care or equivalent
  
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
  
• Unrestricted AHPRA registration
  
• Sound clinical skills with a consumer focus
  
• Extensive knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
  
• Knowledge and understanding of AN-ACC processes, assessments, and reviews
  
• Completion of IPC lead course desirable
  

• Satisfactory national police check within the last six months
  
• Sufficient vaccination evidence
  
• Satisfactory evidence of working rights in Australia
