We are seeking an experienced and passionate Care Manager (Registered Nurse) to join our leadership team at Whitewater.

Located in Melbourne’s beautiful Bayside suburb of Mordialloc, Whitewater is a contemporary aged care residence offering high-quality care in a welcoming and supportive environment.

About the Role

As Care Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to lead clinical operations and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and supporting clinical and care teams
• Ensuring resident assessments, care plans and documentation are accurate and up to date
• Managing medication administration and clinical care delivery
• Providing coaching, mentoring and education to care staff
• Building strong relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals
• Driving continuous quality improvement and accreditation outcomes
• Supporting workplace health, safety and infection prevention initiatives
• Promoting a positive, collaborative and resident-focused culture

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
• Experience in a clinical leadership role within aged care
• Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding resident care
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Evidence of COVID-19 and annual influenza vaccinations
• Full Australian working rights

Desirable:

• Postgraduate qualifications in Gerontology or Aged Care Management
