Senior Project Engineer

Role Description We are currently looking for experienced Senior Project Engineers & Construction Managers for various roles including a fly-in/fly-out opportunity. Day-to-day responsibilities in our roles can include overseeing project engineering activities, managing schedules and budgets, reviewing technical designs, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The roles may involve guiding junior engineers, preparing reports and documentation, and contributing to risk management and quality assurance processes. We have a mix of casual, full-time, and hybrid roles - mainly based in South East Queensland but some further afield, with a mix of on-site work and work from home as appropriate to project needs.
Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and/or Project/Construction Management skills, with demonstrated experience delivering complex infrastructure projects including mining.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear technical documentation and engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil, Construction or Mining) preferred but other specialisations considered) and eligibility for, or membership in, a professional engineering body.Proven experience in public sector, mining or large-scale infrastructure projects, with a solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and quality.Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and contribute positively to a collaborative, inclusive team environment.Ability to commit to FIFO work if the role requires it.
