FIFO Auto Electrician

GBTK Automotive is an established business operating in the Pilbara's Port Hedland. We are looking for experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Auto-Electricians (Dual Trades welcome) to join our 1st-class team. 

Various Rosters Available

• 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off rosters available from any capital city

• 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster available from Perth

• Even time rosters available (2&2, 3&3, 4&4) by negotiation

Your Role

• Troubleshoot and conduct electrical and mechanical diagnostics across a wide range of diesel and petrol vehicles

• Repairing or replacing worn/defective parts

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to read parts diagrams and schematics

• Understanding of circuit diagrams and wiring

• Installation of electrics and excellent overall electrical skills

• Mine spec and accessory fit outs

• Adhering to all safety procedures and ensuring a safe work environment

• Proficiency and willingness to undertake occasional non-electrical mechanical work would be advantageous

About you

• Full Australian working rights.

• Be a qualified Auto Electrician (Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology )

• Have a minimum of 3 years work experience as a Qualified Auto Electrician

• Hold a Full Valid Drivers licence

• Refrigerant Handling Arctick ticket

• A high level of attention to detail

• Capable of working a wide range of vehicle makes and models

• Experience in problem solving and diagnostic skills

• Work independently and unsupervised

• Excellent time management and communication skills a must
