What You’ll Be Doing
As a key member of our team, your expertise will be valued and recognised. Your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing mechanical and electronic faults using advanced diagnostic tools and systems

• Carrying out complex repairs, engine work, and component replacements

• Ordering parts and liaising with the Parts Department

• Completing accurate job notes and service records

• Supporting and mentoring apprentices

• Staying up to date with Toyota service bulletins and repair procedures

• Conducting test drives and final inspections to ensure work quality and guest satisfaction

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking experienced TMCA technicians who bring more than just technical ability. You will be a proactive team player with a high attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for automotive innovation.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Trade qualifications as an automotive technician (Certificate III or equivalent)

• TMCA Diagnostic Certificate

• Current driver’s licence

• Proven diagnostic and repair experience in passenger vehicles

• Ability to work independently and manage your workload efficiently

• High standards of safety, workmanship, and guest service

• Intermediate to advanced computer skills

Desirable Experience

• Previous Toyota dealership experience

• Additional post-trade certifications

• Experience mentoring apprentices

• Hybrid or electric vehicle knowledge or certification
