VAC Truck Operator - we'll train you, experience not a requirement but wanting to learn is

What you will Require (Mandatory):

• MR or HR Truck license

• White Card (safety construction induction card)

• Be self-motivated and switched on.

• Able to work under pressure.

• Willingness to learn.

• Commitment to working Safely and following Safe Work Procedures. 

• And Take Pride in Your Work.

The Role:

Due to the nature of our work, you will need to be flexible with your availability. You will need to be able to work some weekends, early evenings, outside Townsville from time to time and emergency call outs when required. 

The role will include, but not limited to the following: 

• Trained in the operation of OUR hydro vacuum excavator trucks & units to complete jobs (80% labouring, 20% truck driving).  

• Ability to follow instructions.

• Assist customers where possible.

• Site set up, jack hammering, use of power tools, concreting, backfill and other labouring duties.

• Working close with colleague operators & spotter duties

• Lift and carry equipment.

• Perform manual and physical tasks relative to job requirements.

• Understanding & completion of basic paperwork & and workplace app systems (JSEA's, pre-starts, work dockets, timesheets etc.)

• Routine vehicle maintenance & cleaning

• Assist with ensuring our company services are delivered in a Safe, Efficient and Professional Manner.

• Support other team members in solving problems and completing tasks.

• At times work outside of Townsville (away work) alongside client crews or on Mine Sites

• Do on call/rostered work at night and on weekends when required.

• Advantageous but not mandatory - Mobile plant tickets or experience (vac truck / skid steer / excavator/loader)

• Must pass a medical and drug & alcohol test
