TRANSCO MFG is a respected and well-established business, proudly operating for over 30 years in the design, manufacture, and global marketing of downhole drilling tools. Due to continued growth and demand, we are expanding our team and have exciting opportunities available for motivated First Class CNC Machinists at our Lonsdale,  Adelaide facility.

About the Role:

As a Trade Qualified Machinist you will be responsible for the operation of CNC machines in our busy jobbing style shop environment. Key duties include:

• Setting, operating and programming CNC lathes / mills (Fanuc, Mazatral, Heindenhain, Okuma OSP, Controllers)

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings

• Using a wide range of metal-cutting tools and precision measuring instruments

• Ensuring high-quality workmanship with attention to detail

About You:

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• A relevant trade qualification, or be actively working toward one

• The ability to read engineering drawings and work to specifications

• A keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic

• The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

• Willingness to work regular overtime
