YouTube Producer / Storyteller - 4WD24/7 - Sydney

We make 4WD videos for Australia's biggest outdoor audience - epic 4WD adventure trips, builds, how-tos, new 4WD tests - all posted on our massive YouTube and Social Media audience (1.45m YT Followers, 2.5m followers on socials).

We need a producer to join the team who thinks in episodes, not clips, and knows why a YouTube video keeps someone watching at minute 18.

You'll own significant projects end-to-end and work directly with our team across Sydney and Brisbane. If you've run your own channel, produced unscripted TV, or led longform content at an agency or studio, this is the role.

What you’ll actually do

• Work with management to develop and produce YouTube episodes from concept to delivery

• Shoot and edit short-form social content week-to-week (Reels, Shorts, TikToks)

• Cam B on bigger travel show trips - with the goal of developing the right candidate into a lead producer of these trips

• Run shoots on location - often regional, sometimes a week or more at a time

• Work closely with editors and pre/post production team to nail the content brief, commercial requirements and maximise views

You probably are

• 3-5+ years producing longform video - YouTube, unscripted, doco, branded longform, or your own channel

• Strong understanding of YouTube as a platform - retention, packaging, thumbnails, titles, the lot

• A strong story teller. You can see a story in things others can’t - you understand what makes people start watching a video, plus watch the thing to the end credits. 

• Confident & comfortable on shoots and in the edit, even if you’re not the one cutting

• Into the outdoors, camping or 4WDing

• Sydney-based or willing to relocate

The deal

• $85,000–$115,000 + Super depending on experience

• Based out of our Sydney office, plus shoot weeks on the road

• Hybrid / WFH flexibility we’re happy to talk through at interview

• Real creative ownership and direct influence on the content we film

• Proper training from a team that have been doing this for years
