3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Air Conditioning

Air Focus PL is seeking a 3rd or 4th year apprentice.

We are a well established and growing air conditioning company specialising in high end VRV air conditioning and mechanical systems in the education sector. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality workmanship and fostering a supportive team environment.

As you approach the end of your trade, we are focused on helping you bridge between being an assistant and becoming a fully autonomous, high earning tradesperson.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated 3rd or 4th Year HVAC&R Apprentice who is ready to step up, take on more responsibility, and finish their Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration with a top-tier team.

You will work alongside senior technicians on complex systems, but you will also be given the autonomy to lead smaller jobs and diagnostic tasks on your own to build your confidence.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Installing, servicing, and diagnosing [residential / commercial - education sector ] air conditioning systems.

• Executing fault-finding and electrical troubleshooting under guidance.

• Interacting directly with clients, representing our brand with a professional attitude.

• Managing your local job site workflow, material pick-ups, and helping mentor junior 1st/2nd-year apprentices.

• Completing your TAFE studies with our full backing and flexible support.

What We Are Looking For

• Currently completing a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (3rd or 4th year status).

• Valid Australian Manual Driver’s Licence (preferred).

• Current White Card (Construction Induction Card).

• An existing Arctick Apprentice Licence.

• A Working With Children WWC compliance Check and Card.

• A solid work ethic, basic tool kit, and the desire to transition smoothly into a qualified tradesman role.
