The Opportunity   Bridgeman Downs Retirement Village is a welcoming community in Brisbane’s northern suburbs, set among beautifully maintained gardens and close to Aspley Hypermarket, Westfield Chermside and Carseldine Central. Just 5km from Carseldine Train Station, the village offers easy access to the Brisbane CBD and Moreton Bay. As our Bus Driver, you will enjoy facilitating bus trips for our residents to visit shopping centres, local attractions, events and other places as requested. You will ensure that all safety standards are exceeded and that resident satisfaction is maintained. The ideal candidate will enjoy spending time with our residents, be professional and deliver excellent customer service to help ensure our residents are safe!This is a permanent part time opportunity working Monday; Tuesday and Thursday 9am-12:00pm   What we offer   $30.34/hr + superannuation + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances   Employee Referral Program and Employee Assistance Program  Discounts to Health Insurance and Retail & Leisure partner providers  Annual flu vaccinations and skin checks  Be part of a friendly and supportive team in a caring retirement living community Opportunity to work across a number of our neighbouring communities   Your Impact   You will complete bus journey trips for our residents to local community attractions and places of interest Assist passengers with on-boarding and off-boarding of the bus and assist with any luggage/shopping they have Adhere to all OH&S policies and procedures (e.g incident reporting) Be available to assist residents and Community Leaders with adhoc tasks as needed   What you will bring   Valid LR Drivers Licence (required) Current First Aid & CPR Certificate completed in last 12 months (required or be willing to obtain prior to employment) Current Police Check (required, but we can complete for you!)
