Bookkeeper

The International Hotel Wagga is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Casual Bookkeeper to support our finance and administrative functions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper who enjoys the dynamic environment of hospitality and can maintain accurate records across rooms, F&B, and other revenue streams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate day-to-day bookkeeping records (accounts payable/receivable, bank & credit card reconciliations)

• Process invoices, supplier payments, and guest-related financial transactions

• Assist with payroll processing and related reporting (including award/casual loadings where applicable)

• Prepare monthly reconciliations, reports, and support month-end close

• Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems

• Liaise with management, external accountants, and suppliers as required

• Support general administrative duties related to financial operations as needed

About you

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounts roles (hospitality or multi-revenue business experience highly regarded)

• Strong proficiency with accounting software (MYOB)

• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlines

• Ability to work independently
