Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Exercise Physiologist to join our multidisciplinary team in a casual capacity with an immediate start. This role is crucial in supporting patients to achieve their desired and optimum health outcomes through tailored exercise programs.

The Opportunity

As an Exercise Physiologist, you will be responsible for:

Assessing patients to understand their specific needs and goals.Prescribing and developing individualised exercise programs.Supervising patient exercise programs in close collaboration with our Physiotherapists.Encouraging maximum patient participation to ensure effective rehabilitation and health improvement.

About You

We are looking for an Exercise Physiologist who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. You will possess:

Essential

Bachelor of Exercise Physiology or equivalent (as per ESSA accreditation requirements).A minimum of 1 year of demonstrated experience in conducting individual and group exercise programs.Proven experience working successfully within a multidisciplinary team.Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.Exceptional customer service skills.

Desirable

Membership of a relevant professional organisation (e.g. Australian Association for Exercise and Sports Science Australia).Knowledge and implementation of outcome measures.
