Quality Assurance and Training Officer AU/NZ

About the role

We are seeking a highly capable and motivated HR Officer to join our team at Bonfiglioli in Glendenning, Sydney. As a HR Officer, you will ensure management/ control of all HR process at local level in line with national legislation and Group HR Strategy. Supports the Country Manager in implementing the business strategy adding value to business in terms of organizational effectiveness and people development. This is a full-time position based on-site in Glendenning.

 Key responsibilities

• Working with business managers and team leaders to understand their people-related needs and deliver tailored HR solutions

• Manage and monitor: Hiring process, turnover, employee programs, performance appraisals, wage progression

• Ensuring HR compliance at local level

• Providing guidance and advice to managers and employees on a range of HR-related matters

• Co-ordinate learning and development initiatives and support career pathways and capability uplift

• Contributing to the development and implementation of strategic HR projects

• Assisting with employee relations issues and helping to resolve any workplace conflicts

• Ensure HR documentation is maintained accurately (contracts, variations, position descriptions, and employee records)

• Co-ordinate onboarding process

• Labour Cost Process (forecasting, budgeting etc)

What we're looking for

·       A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or a related discipline

·       3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role

·       Working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR fundamentals, with a willingness to learn.

·       Strong people skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and communicate confidently with employees and leaders at all levels.

·       Able to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgement.

·       A collaborative team player with a customer-focused approach

·       Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

. Occasional travelling interstate and overseas.
