Learning Enrichment Coordinator - Commencing Term1, 2027

We are seeking an outstanding educator and aspiring leader to join our Diverse Learning Team as Learning Enrichment Coordinator, commencing Term 1, 2027.

This important middle leadership role supports the identification, development and achievement of high potential and gifted learners across Years 5-12. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with College leaders, teachers, students and families to ensure high potential and gifted learners are appropriately identified, supported, challenged and extended in their learning. The role is ideally suited to an experienced teacher with a passion for gifted education and talent development, who is committed to fostering excellence through contemporary, evidence-informed teaching and learning practices.

This is a Permanent Full-Time teaching position with up to 0.8 FTE time release (subject to timetabling) and a three-year (1-point) promotional appointment as Learning Enrichment Coordinator.

Reporting to the Head of Diverse Learning, the Learning Enrichment Co-Ordinator is responsible for leading initiatives that support high potential and gifted learners across Years 5-12. The role works closely with the Head of Diverse Learning, Director of Innovation and Learning, Director of Curriculum and classroom teachers to ensure enrichment opportunities are effectively planned, implemented and evaluated. Working collaboratively with staff across the College, the successful applicant will support the identification and monitoring of gifted learners, provide guidance to teachers in effective differentiation and enrichment practices, lead collaborative planning processes and contribute to the ongoing development of the College's learning enrichment programs. The successful applicant will be an excellent classroom practitioner with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to supporting students to achieve their full potential academically, socially and emotionally.

About You

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

• A working understanding of, and commitment to, the Catholic ethos of a School in the Edmund Rice tradition.
• Demonstrated understanding of appropriate behaviours and professional boundaries that reflect child safeguarding values in practice.
• NESA Accreditation and approval to teach in NSW.
• Demonstrated excellence as a classroom practitioner.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary gifted education research, theory and practice.
• Experience supporting teachers to implement effective differentiation, enrichment and extension strategies.
• Leadership experience, or the capacity to lead and influence others in improving outcomes for high potential and gifted learners.
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to build productive relationships with students, staff and families.
• Experience analysing and using student achievement data to inform educational planning, support and intervention.
• A commitment to continuous improvement and evidence-informed educational practice.

Highly Desirable

• Qualifications or postgraduate studies in Gifted Education, Inclusive Education, Educational Leadership or a related discipline.
• Experience leading enrichment, extension or high potential learner programs.
• Experience working collaboratively across multiple year groups and curriculum areas.
• Knowledge of contemporary approaches to supporting the academic, social and emotional needs of gifted learners.
