Key Responsibilities:

As an MC Local Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transport of freight between various locations. This includes:

• Loading and unloading freight while ensuring weight and dimension limits are met;
• Securing loads in line with load restraint guidelines;
• Accurate record-keeping of declarations, fatigue hours, and pre-start checks;
• Operating within WA road laws and company policies to ensure safety and compliance;
• Maintaining clean and well-kept vehicles and equipment.

Requirements:

• Heavy Combination or Multi-Combination Driver’s Licence (WA), with proven experience driving in a similar role (minimum 6 months);
• Full Australian Work Rights;
• WA Fatigue Management Certificate;
• Load Restraint Certificate (or willing to obtain) and strong understanding of compliance requirements;
• Dangerous Goods Licence and knowledge (preferred);
• HRWL (Forklift) (preferred);
• National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months from start date);
• Experience with MTData, or similar software, for logging trips, faults, and fuel usage;
• Excellent time management and knowledge of Perth Metro area and designated routes;
• Successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including medical, drug and alcohol screening, and driving assessment.
