About the Role

Reporting to the National Sales Manager and Branch Manager, you will be responsible for managing an established customer base throughout Victoria while identifying and developing new business opportunities.

Your focus will be on delivering outstanding customer service, providing technical product advice, and ensuring customers receive the highest level of support from initial enquiry through to after-sales service.

Regional travel, including occasional overnight stays, will be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.

• Identify and secure new business opportunities throughout Victoria.

• Achieve sales targets and contribute to company growth.

• Provide technical advice and product recommendations.

• Manage customer enquiries from quotation through to order completion and after-sales support.

• Keep customers informed of new products, pricing updates and company services.

• Maintain accurate customer information within the CRM system.

• Work closely with internal sales and warehouse teams to deliver exceptional customer service.

• Maintain a strong understanding of AUSTLIFT's product range, pricing structure and relevant Australian Standards.

About You

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Previous experience in industrial, lifting, rigging, height safety or material handling products.

• A proven background in business development and account management.

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in sales or customer relationship management (preferred).

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Strong customer service focus.

• High level of computer literacy, including CRM and Warehouse Management Systems.

• Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards (highly regarded).

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.

• A professional, accountable and respectful attitude.

• A current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence.
