About the role
Glenelg Community Hospital is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our Theatre, Recovery and Endoscopy teams.
Opportunities are available across Theatre, including Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics and Recovery, as well as our Day Surgery Unit, including Endoscopy and Recovery.

About Us
Glenelg Community Hospital is a not-for-profit organisation located in the seaside suburb of Glenelg South. The Hospital is fully licensed and includes inpatient rooms, day surgery facilities, two operating theatres and a procedure room.
We provide planned day and short-stay elective surgical services to the local community in a welcoming and patient-centred environment.
Our specialties include orthopaedics (incl. joint replacements), ophthalmology, plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, oral surgery and gastroenterology.
About You
You will work collaboratively within our dynamic clinical team to support the effective operation of the Hospital and deliver an exceptional patient experience.
You will have a minimum of two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse, together with current AHPRA registration.
You will also have a minimum of two years’ experience in the role or specialty area for which you are applying.
Paediatric experience is favourable for Recovery and Anaesthetic applicants.
You will bring strong organisational and communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and the ability to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams across the Hospital.
You will be an innovative thinker with sound problem-solving skills.
You will be a positive team player who responds constructively to workplace challenges and change.
A current Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance and up-to-date immunisations are required.
