Are you an experienced policy and project professional who thrives on complexity, stakeholder engagement, and delivering outcomes that leave a lasting legacy?

We're seeking a Senior Policy & Project Officer to help deliver land activation work connected with the realisation of Aboriginal land rights and native title on Crown Land. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of land activation and community development, partnering with Local Aboriginal Land Councils, local government, industry, and government agencies to create real opportunities for communities.

The role

You’ll help shape how land and natural resources are used across NSW by developing policy, leading research, and coordinating projects that inform real government decisions. You’ll bring together insights, stakeholders and evidence to deliver reforms and drive projects that create better outcomes for communities.

Working across government, you’ll tackle complex challenges, respond to tight deadlines, and provide clear, practical advice to senior leaders. You’ll balance competing priorities and stakeholders while keeping projects on track and meeting quality standards. Your work will influence policy direction, support major reform programs, and turn emerging issues into solutions that make a lasting impact.
