Diploma Qualified (Room Leader) Early Childhood Educator

About the role

As a Room Leader, you will lead and support a team of educators within your room, plan and implement engaging programs aligned with EYLF V2.0, build positive relationships with children, families and educators, support children's learning, development, health and wellbeing, complete observations, documentation and learning portfolios, maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment, and work collaboratively with the Educational Leader and Centre Leadership Team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of educators within your room

• Plan and implement engaging programs aligned with EYLF V2.0

• Build positive relationships with children, families and educators

• Support children's learning, development, health and wellbeing

• Complete observations, documentation and learning portfolios

• Maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment

• Work collaboratively with the Educational Leader and Centre Leadership Team

About you

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent

• Previous Room Leader or senior educator experience preferred

• Strong understanding of EYLF V2.0 and the NQF

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Passionate about children's learning and development

• Reliable, organised and a positive team player

• Current WWCC and First Aid/CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma certificates
