Job Description

BESIX Watpac is seeking a Senior Planner to join our Qld Construction team. This is a great opportunity to join our collaborative team working across tenders and project delivery.

This role will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining tender and project programmes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract requirements.
• Working with pre-contracts and delivery teams to prepare methodologies, bids, and submissions.
• Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and reporting status updates with remedial actions.
• Creating and maintaining records to support contractual obligations, including extension of time claims.
• Driving innovation through the adoption of new planning methods, software, and industry best practice.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in supporting delivery of large building projects with accurate and effective construction programmes.
• Strong knowledge of commercial requirements and processes in tendering and project delivery.
• Proven ability to manage complex tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build effective relationships.
• A high level of professionalism, initiative, and sound judgement in decision-making.
