Everybody knows a JJ’s Truck when they see one . . . our iconic green and gold fleet head out rain or shine for collections in your area.

But did you know we have 23 divisions, 135 sites nationally, employ nearly 3000 people and operate a fleet of over 2300!

We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a JJ’s Truck Driver & Operator, you’ll be confident behind the wheel and comfortable with hands-on, physical work outside the truck.

On a day-to-day basis, this role will require you to service multiple customer sites, with a large variety of tasks - no two days will be the same! You will be working with a safe and reliable fleet, serviced and maintained in our on-site workshops.

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

You will enjoy family friendly hours – no more long haul, DIDO or FIFO, as well as great pay rates - particularly for those interested in overtime or additional work on weekends (potential for some overnight trips occasionally)!  

Early starts (between 4-6am) and early finishes. 

If you’ve got your HR licence, we can teach you the rest!

ABOUT YOU

• Current HR, MC or HC licence

• Liquid tanker or Vacuum Truck experience is preferred (however, full training will be provided)

• Comfortable in and outside the truck - the role mixes driving, operating and labouring

• Be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance

• Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing

• Able to provide your last 5 years’ traffic history at interview stage

• Well-developed people and relationship skills
