Job Summary
As a Restaurant Manager within our McDonald’s franchise organisation, you’ll lead one of our high-performing restaurants to achieve excellence in Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC).
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving sales, profitability, people development, and operational excellence — ensuring every guest enjoys a world-class McDonald’s experience.
Location: Northern Suburbs
You’ll be the key driver of results, culture, and performance in your restaurant, leading by example and fostering an environment where people and systems thrive together.

People & Leadership
Lead and inspire your management and crew teams to deliver operational and service excellence.
Recruit, coach, and develop future leaders, ensuring strong succession planning for long-term success.
Conduct six-monthly performance reviews, ongoing coaching, and regular manager meetings.
Create effective management and crew schedules in line with business needs and rostering principles.
Promote a positive, inclusive culture that reflects McDonald’s core values of Service, Integrity, Inclusion, Family, and Community.
Operational Excellence (QSC & Food Safety)
Ensure restaurant compliance with McDonald’s operational, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
Use operational evaluation tools to identify performance opportunities and implement action plans.
Champion daily and monthly food safety checklists and coach your team on best practices.
Maintain a consistent guest experience that exceeds expectations on every shift.
Sales & Business Growth
Develop and execute a restaurant business plan focused on sales growth, profitability, and guest experience.
Analyse local market trends and lead community engagement initiatives to strengthen brand presence.
Implement new McDonald’s programs, technology, and promotional campaigns effectively and on time.
Build strong local partnerships and promote community involvement.
Financial Management
Drive restaurant profitability through effective cost control, labour planning, and P&L analysis.
Conduct regular reviews with department managers to track performance and progress.
Identify financial trends and develop strategic responses to maximise results.
Safety & Compliance
Maintain a safe working environment for all employees and guests.
Investigate incidents promptly and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with all Fast Food Industry Award 2020 and company standards.

Candidates who have completed all McDonald’s leadership courses, up to and including LGR, will be considered favourably for this position.
You are a confident and motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You balance business acumen with people-first leadership and are passionate about achieving excellence.
You will bring:
Experience as a McDonald’s Restaurant Manager or equivalent in the QSR industry
Completion of all McDonald’s leadership courses up to and including Leading Great Restaurants (LGR)
Strong financial management and business planning skills
Proven ability to coach, mentor, and lead diverse teams
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
A commitment to continuous improvement and guest satisfaction
Competitive base salary starting from $86,000 + performance bonuses
