Primary objective
Provide information about vaccination records from the NT immunisation register and Australian immunisation registers to
health professionals and the public, produce recall lists and perform accurate, timely complex data entry requiring
interpretation and analysis onto the NT immunisation register.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Enter immunisation data in an accurate, complete and timely way into the NT Immunisation Register.
2. Provide information about individual adult and children’s immunisations and answer other telephone enquiries to assist
vaccine service providers, individuals and parents.
3. Produce regular recall/reminder lists to assist vaccine service providers to administer correct vaccinations at the correct
time.
4. Monitor immunisation data reporting and request immunisation data from vaccine service providers to ensure the timely
reporting of all immunisation encounters.
5. Assist in the cleaning of historical data and data quality checks to improve the quality of the register, including the
collection of data for Australian Immunisation Register cohort assessments.
6. Provide administrative assistance to the Immunisation unit managers as required.
7. Follow defined service quality standards, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies and procedures relating the work
being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Proven work experience in organisational, administrative and computer skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
2. Demonstrated experience in complex data entry with a high level of accuracy and a mature attitude to repetitive work.
3. Knowledge of the principles of health information privacy, confidentiality and data security.
4. Demonstrated oral communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to handle enquiries through a telephone based
service.
5. Proven ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultures.
6. Ability to organise daily tasks and prioritise workloads
Desirable
1. At least 2 years administrative experience

criminal history. For immunisation requirements - Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances) or Category B
